What Exactly Is Financial Freedom?

Financial Freedom. It’s a phrase that’s thrown about here and there, particularly by Financial advice professionals, but what exactly does it mean?

In its simplest form Financial Freedom is exactly what it says – freedom from financial worry.

How would you feel to be able to just book that break away from it all? Or to drive that shiny car you’ve always dreamed of? To pay for your children’s or grandchildren’s education or take them to on a magical trip to Disneyland?

What about the simple pleasure of being able to go out for a meal whenever it takes your fancy without wondering whether you can afford it?

For most financial advisers Financial Freedom is purely concerned with how to look after your wealth and grow your balances so that you can do the things you enjoy without a second thought, but at Chesterton House we feel that true Financial Freedom involves much more than that.

For us true freedom from financial worry is owning a business that you’re passionate about and not having to worry about managing the bookkeeping or payroll.

It’s not having to think about tackling the tax return forms yourself.

It’s knowing that your Will is written correctly so that your money is passed on as you intend when you’re no longer here to enjoy it.

It's the relief of knowing that you have a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) in place so that the people you trust manage your money if you’re still here, but can’t cope with handling your finances.

It’s knowing that the wealth you’ve worked so hard to build up is protected so that you can live the fullest life but still be confident your money is safe even after you die. How much more freeing can that get?

And that is why every single person in the Woodgate Financial Planning Team is so passionate about fulfilling our mission to help you achieve Financial Freedom. Because you are the most important part of our business – you’re why we do what we do. And we want you to live a great and financially free life.
